BAG IN BOX
Talk about a true underdog story! Boxed wine has gotten a bad rap since its early beginnings. Previously associated with cheap, poor quality, boxed wine has risen from the shackles of shame and emerged as a bona fide champion of innovation, portability and environmentalism, not to mention quality and value. Modern day premium bag in box wines are typically packaged in eco-friendly, recyclable 3-liter installments, the equivalent to four 750ml bottles, and usually last up to 30 days after opening. Ideal for entertaining with large groups and for outdoor activities where glass bottles aren’t welcome, boxed wines are currently experiencing a huge surge in US sales, meaning that consumers have caught on to the premium boxed wine renaissance that continues to flourish across the country.
